Anti-Hazing Policy
Theta Zeta Epsilon, Inc. is built on integrity and appreciation for each and every member. We understand that what is done to the least of us is done to all of us. With that being said, please be advised that Hazing in any form is strictly prohibited. We are all adults, and behavior resulting in the intentional or unintentional infliction of physical or psychological distress will not be tolerated. All members are entitled to be treated with respect and dignity. It is the responsibility of all members to ensure that this anti-hazing policy is adhered to at all times. Please know that behaviors included but not limited to the following will result in harsh action:
a) engaging in immoral or destructive behavior
b) inappropriate jokes
c) humiliation
d) bullying in person or virtually
e) harassment or ridicule
f) endangerment
g) destruction of public or private property
Anti-Hazing Pledge
It is not only important to reframe from hazing, but everyone should be an avid advocate against hazing. The Elite Ladies of Theta Zeta Epsilon are required to take the following pledge against hazing:
I pledge to condemn hazing through words and actions. I understand that hazing is harmful, and I will work to prevent it when identified and/or notify the appropriate authority when such behavior has transpired. I will encourage all my Sorors to join me in eradicating hazing, for what is done to the least of us is done to all of us.
